Mental_sachinodu:if partnership is not breaking... we used to bring drinks to the ground... and invite the batsmen... 9 out of 10 times work ayyedhi trick. with in next 2 overs wicket padedhi...
flow lo ae batsmen ki ayyina break is not good anede nen seppindi kooda..
OTOH, I agree Rohit-Dhawan are not the best runners between wickets and cannot even compare with Viru-Gauti pair..
I strongly believe in running between the wickets and quick singles myself a lot.. and a big fan of anyone who does that..Javed Miandad, Michael Bevan, Dhoni, Gauti, Jadeja(Prince) to name a few.. |

naa own experience tho cheppagalanu..it is not easy ..even if you are a set batsman to keep going in and out..
i think the team strategy looks like, he has to stay till the end..and attack only after 40 overs..

this is for Raju gaaru.....
my update....
Morning seat lo koorchuney sariki....paki national anthem start ayyindhi.....ventaney nunchuni.....calm ga undi.....just got ready for ours....
then it started.....with india T-shirt on.....and wrapped in Indian flag....with hand on heart......started singing......I have to be honest. I remember only 85% of the song...but went with the flow.....and once finished.....the roar to show our strength in the ground........goosebumps.....
Its 80-20% india....in a sea of blue.....and then the main event starts.....
For TV watching audience.....it may be a bit irritating to wait for play to begun...but for us in the ground its like a rock concert.....Drummers on.....Punjabi crowd with dhols.....whistles what not.....
once yuvi started playing well......then there is Sing is Kingh......dances.....in front of Paki supporters and sometimes it went overboard.....but im not complaining....
for a change after the punjabi guys,,,its the telugu group which made the most of the hungama in the ground this time...they cam equipped with flags.....whistles.....and dancing......
the organisers have arranged drummers in place of cheerleaders (in T20) and that was just great.....
all in all....its an experience.....not to be missed.....sitting with rival fans....taunting them....asking them their line up.....and then sharing info about our boys.....
highlights:
National anthem with hands on hearts....
our openers....holding on...
Rain break...and party starts.....
yuvi....singh is King performance
last 45 mins of India batting....and noise in the stands....
Sachin's brief appearance...and people went crazy--too good
Ravi Jaedja songs....all over the match.....
and the Match is just a bonus......
dont miss a Ind vs Pak live at ground....its different......its THE MATCH......on and off the pitch
