Vendor sent check for 2 months - Jan and Feb. Still not cashed, don't know if bounced.
Ideally, they are also supposed to pay for Mar also by now.
4 days stalled work in June. May approved time-sheets not yet submitted to Vendor.
Maadi Maaggaavaalne ani Employer demanded Vendor...

All this while, for 10 years as a Contractor..
I would get Time-Sheets approved by my Manager or Team-Lead at the Client, who ever that is..
And then, send them as screen-shots or PDFs over gmail, to both Vendors and my employer, on the same email together.
May Time-Sheets Vendor ki pampaledu, because my April Pay is Blocked Partially, and asked my Employer to send the Time-Sheets to Vendor after Check gets encashed. I think that's a good solution for now. Employer receives all pending payments, only then provide latest approved time-sheets so Vendor can go ahead and send Invoices.

Last Friday, another contractor in my team, Chinki and same Vendor, check bounce ayyindi. 5 months pay, mottukunnaad.
Client doesn't look like they even remotely care.
One or two months delay ki Client velli Vendor ki serious warnings isthaar.
Work Environment excellent, Work-Pressure is very less, deadlines demands are not at all stressful, 3 days a week remote, but alaa ani FREE gaa work cheyatam ante yekkado kadupu mandipothaandi.

Only reason I left that FTE was that I got this Contract Opportunity with whopping Billing Rates. My only liability is Tax, Insurance koodaa single gaadini, so $300 per month.
So far, latest good news enti ante, my current Client Manager has asked me to keep the corporate macbook with me only, and he has promised to sort out the situation, i.e; get my employer as direct-vendor at the soonest possible.

talk to manager or send email ccing vendor. if you dont get paid, i will be forced to leave the company and find a different contract. explain how bad the situation is. if the client thinks you are valuable to the team/project they will make the vendor set things straight. if the client thinks they can find 10 other guys like you on the streets if you leave then theres nothing much you can do.

Employer says we have to pay to get our pay if we go Legal, so max, we have to push Prime Vendor to go Legal, and then, strike back, in which case, we can get mental torture compensation also.

Take ur manager for coffee and explain him you are anxious about not getting paid and bills to take care of and it's affecting the work ani. Ask if there is anything he could do to remediate. Negotiate the rate with him or HR if they are open. I was able to do that with a major fin institution. I had a eAD at that time, so I registered an LLc and added myself as a layer between my employer and the new prime vendor. Took a bigger cut thru the newly formed LIc and reduced my employer share 80-20 equation lo coz he didn't do anything to help other than not paying kiki

Tomorrow, I think I'll stop working, to make Employer as Vendor quickly. But if I start it, it is like Niraahaara Deeksha. Don't know how long it will take to re-instate me into the project.

The best way to put pressure is tell client that you are stopping the work due to NON-PAYMENT of your salary.

Tell the client that you would love to work for them, but NOT through current vendor or employer. Hopefully this should take care of the issue.

Prime Vendor has not paid my Employer since Jan of this year.
I repeatedly informed Client since March, and Prime Vendor is paying a deaf ear.
Two other consultants (non-desi) at Client have had the same problem, but somehow, they got all salary arrears cleared from Prime Vendor.
I am only one desi with EVC model.
Client Manager offered to make Employer as Vendor, but I don't trust him. Recently, 3 years ki Client Letter immante, Dec ending daaka ichhadu. I don't trust my Employer also, he'll re-negotiate with Client and lie to me about Hourly Rates, if we even manage to get that far.
Employer is pressing very hard to move to a different Vendor.
How to put pressure on Client, and not lose my project? Should I stop working for a day or two?
