In India, Non-Muslim women marrying a Muslim going only for Nikaah and not registering under Special Marriages Act are signing invisible waivers. If there are complications in marriage - child rights, alimony etc all affected. If you know any non-Muslim girl marrying a Muslim guy, tell her to register it under SMA | ||

Mental, From what I understand lo husband no chepthe marriage is intact. Talaq is one way - the wife need not agree. Also what u said is theory - peactice lo they r doing it in hours also. They get a qazi or mullah to do it. Then there is this practice Halala where if the divorced couple wants to remarry, the wonan has to have sexx with another man. majority always make the decision in democracy.. its upto the minorities to make majority realize what they want. coming to religious significance of triple talaq, is part of islam - but they cannot be said at the smae time. A women can divorce a man instantly . this is called (Khula) A man cannot divoirce a woman instantly. the first time a male says I need divorce, he has to wait three months - and in this three months, it has to be decided by elders whether the marriage can continue or if there is change in mind they can continue. second time - if said, he has to wait again for three months - and elders have to get involved again if said third time - then its done deal. they can only get united again with a remarriage if they want to get back together. triple talaq ni instant mix sesi .. malli ippud dhaaniki against ani hindus meedha politicians comedy | ||

They don't give minority benefits to Hindus where they are in minority. Kashmir, Kerala(jsut below 50%), Northeast - Hindus are minority but Hindus don't get any minority benefits like minority-only scholarships, minority-only funds etc., | ||

there are six religions that are minority per constitution - Christians, Muslims, Jews, Parsis(Zoroasstrians), Buddhists, Jains(Jains are added recently). BJP is spending political capital on this and they are saying they will bring a new law for Muslim marriages if SC scraps triple talaq. What will BJP or Hindus get out of this? That is Congress and that is exactly what they implemented. See this guy is not just another lawyer. He was HRD minister(the ministry Congress never gives to alliance partners because it has so much power.) TMA Pai case lo Sc said private educational institutes run by Majority and Minority have equal rights ani cheppindi(before this judgement, minority had more rights than majority). To override the judgement, they made the 93rd constitutional amendment. Sibal is the main guy behind this.
