First Unlearn all technology, all languages etc. Then start learning "Mother of All Languages".
In the end, is it worth while?

satellite office work doesn't have the same pull

Is it worthwhile ante, it's your choice. You can be a millionaire in Silicon valley and can't afford to buy a house or move to NC and join db rich people

All Tech Giants have offices in NYC also. West ye move avvaali ani yemi ledu.
But, getting a job with a Tech Giant is not easy. It is as good as a career-switch, with unknown and unforeseen consequences any moment.
First Unlearn all technology, all languages etc. Then start learning "Mother of All Languages".
In the end, is it worth while? Worst Maintenance Project or some Test-Framework development laantivi ayithe zindagi meeda malli virakthi kaligiddi.

Once upon a time, East Coast lo Finance Sector and Investment Banks were offering RSUs left-and-right to their Employees, probably 20 or 30 years ago.
Today, No RSUs, no employee growth in that sector at all. All Investment Banks gone to dogs. AVP and VP level base-salaries do not exceed max $180K. No Bonuses either. You have a FullTime Job, You just have a FullTime job, and a Retirement Account with modest benefits, anthey.
Last 20 years Tech Sector Giants and Top Tier-1 Firms offering RSUs, and growing exhorbitantly in West Coast. Of course, Cost-of-Living is equally High.
All employees that work for these Tech Giants, are they all worth Millions every year?
Are we in the wrong parallel industry, running IT Back-Offices for peanuts? This H1 Visa, the GC Dreams?
Is pursuing a career-switch to a Tech Giant really worth-while?
