Position Description
* Responsible for reviewing Requirements and Functional Specifications; writing complex test plans; reviewing test plans written by other team members as well as executing test plans for major releases and maintenance releases; test automation and collaborating with global teams.
* Update status on a timely basis using internal R&D tools.
* Ability to multi-task and work independently, including collaboration with external teams as needed.
Education
* Bachelors or Master's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, IT or Engineering fields
* Must have at least three to five years of Quality Engineering experience with Web based applications, with at least 2 years of experience at as a Senior Quality Engineer.
Requirements
Required Skills:
* Extensive working knowledge of J2EE web based environments, including applications servers (Tomcat), multiple web-browsers, working knowledge of databases (Oracle and SQL Server).
* Strong experience with all operating systems, including RH Linux, Windows, and MAC.
* Experience with testing on Cloud environments and mobile devices.
* Excellent formal testing and quality assurance methodology experience required, including a good understanding of SDLC and Agile Methodologies .
* Automation testing experience on web-based applications.
* Ability to adapt to a dynamic technical environment, along with strong analytical and problem solving skills required.
* Excellent time management skills, work independently and multi-task to accomplish workloaefficiently.
* Excellent team player with good written and verbal communication skills.
* Collaborate with other technical managers and engineers in formulating an efficient test model that incorporates complex application scenarios.
Nice to Have Skills:
* Knowledge of programming / scripting a PLUS.
* Knowledge of PLM / CPG Industry a PLUS.
