On Q Blog I read PERM filings this year are down 20% so far, which might reflect in numbers next year. I hope the administration tightens the screws around EB1 abuse also, which might help. to pp15: PERM CERTIFICATIONS by DOL are 20% lower than at this time last year, but FILINGS are 4.2% higher. PERM certification numbers in FY2016 set a new record, but certifications in FY2017 are still on target to be higher than any other year, other than FY2016. It's all relative. Assuming there is no more spillover from EB1...As per last 485 inventory report available from Jan 2017, currently there is a pending 485 inventory of 20k till 2010 April for EB2...similarly there is a pending 485 inventory of 13k for EB3 till 2007 August...after 2007 August, approximately year ki oka 5k EB3 esukunna another 15k...so total till 2010 pending is around 48k...yearly 5600 is the quota available for EB2 & EB3 put together...ee rakamgaa it will take another 8.5 years to clear this backlog...so next 9 years wet cloth esukotamey anukuntaa... | ||

Non-Precedent AAO Decision of 04/28/2017 on I-140 Ported Beneficiary (Foreign Worker) Right to be a Party to I-140 Revocation Proceeding Yesterday, the AAO, administrative appeal agency of the USCIS handed down a very interesting decision on the right of I-140 approval ported foreign worker beneficiary persuant to AC 21 in the USCIS approved I-140 revocation proceeding. This decision is not a precedent decision and also applies only to a situation where the foreign worker beneficiary ported to a new employer after 180 days of filing of I-485 application. This decision ruled that the foreign worker should be a party to such proceeding which can affect his/her pending EB-485 application. Foreign workers who intend to port or has ported to a new employer per approved I-140 portability legal provision may review this decision.
