The media circles are agog with strong rumours that Tollywood hero Nithin is going to take a plunge into active politics and is most likely to head the Telangana unit of the Jana Sena Party, floated by power star Pawan Kalyan, shortly. It is an open secret in the film industry that Nithin is a staunch follower of Pawan Kalyan. Right from the days of Ishq, Nithin has been openly supporting Pawan Kalyan and has in fact, become, a member of the power star’s core team. Such has been the close association between the two that Pawan regularly sends fruits from his farm house to Nithin. What is more important is that Pawan Kalyan abstains from film functions of any of the mega family members, right from Chiranjeevi to Ram Charan to Varun Tej, on one pretext or the other, but he does not miss the functions of Nithin. And there have been reports that Nithin is doing a film in the production house of Pawan Kalyan. So, there is no surprise that when Pawan Kalyan announced expansion of his party unit across Telangana and Andhra, the name of Nithin has come into reckoning. As of now, Pawan is mostly concentrating his party activities in Andhra and he needs a close confidant to take up the party work in Telangana. There is no better person than Nithin, say sources. Apart from mere craze for Pawan, Nithin is also financially sound and hence, can handle the party affairs successfully, say sources.
