Industry is always looking for somebody that need not be trained, to be ready for the Industry, for the job, for the role. Every company, every team wants a person that will fit straight into the job on the day-one. It is a wrong expectation from the Industry itself. 2. College course curriculum never prepared anybody for Industry. Two-Dimensional Array Matrix multiplication ki one-hour lo program raasthey College Coding Exam cent-per-cent clear cheyochhu.. But that matrix multiplication program never came back again in anybody's life. 3. Computer science and Programming ideally is Language Agnostic, just like Math is. In fact, CS is Math, rather a subset of Math. A CS Language and it's constructs like For-Loops, Switch-Case, Do-While Loops etc add grammar to that Math, and thereby limit certain usability aspects. Now see, grammar begins to differ from Language-to-Language. And therefore, there is no one-solution fits all, and so there is no one candidate who is trained in one Language, fits all the definition of a Software Programmer. 4. In the end, the Industry is saturated, and it is only the IT Era, just like the previous Banking Era in the 70s, and Industrial Era in the 80s and early 90s. Were all those Engineers and Bank Employees Gold Medalists back then? 95% enti 99% of engineers are actually worthless in college. because we dont have the concept of internships, etc. once we enter the real world and get an opportunity most of the engineers are worth their salt. It is demand and supply. right now there is not much demand for ppl to do something spectacular. all we have is service type jobs in India, so ppl dont care. but if there was an opportunity, kummataniki konni kotla mandi engineers readyga unnaru.
