Neither can be used for this purpose. NRE accoounts can only be funded with money from abroad and you will be able to get it back. NRO accounts can be funded from abroad or India..but there is not straight forward way to bring it back.
Interested in learning more about this as well. Ippatiki I never brought money from India...stopped sending to India a few years back. Now, I am in a wait and watch mode...as I am not sure where I will be long term. | ||

Last time India vellinappudu i opened NRE and NRO accounts at ICICI Bank. What is the difference between those two? Which account we can use to move money from India to US? What is the limit? Do you have plan to convert the assets or investments in India and move the money to US? Is this true that we can do 2Cr per year? |
