from what I gather witch or h1b dependent companies can simply pay 60k and get away with the whole searching for specialized worker thingie they can pay 60k or a little above in high Cost of living areas. Naturally, these people do just that, and mark them as wage level 1/2 at max The original intent of h1b is to supplement companies with specialized knowledge. If steps are taken towards that regard, these h1b dependent companies have to hire at higher prevailing wage levels, ensuring that h1b's real intent is maintained | ||
