Initial reports had it that the audio release of Baahubali: The Conclusion in Tamil would be graced by Superstar Rajinikanth, Universal Star Kamal Haasan and Illayathalapathy Vijay. But in a major shocker to Rajamouli and team Baahubali, none of the big stars from Tamil made it to the Baahubali 2 audio launch. In fact, makers had to invite Dhanush who saved them in the last minute. Besides the film's cast and crew including Sathyaraj, Nasser, Ramyakrishna who have roots in Tamil Nadu, along with Rana, Prabhas, Tamanna, the event didn't see any other stars from Tamil fraternity. Despite having presence of Tamil actors, not able to pull Tamil stars for the event is puzzling many in the industry. At a time when Rajamouli and team Baahubali is on cloud nine in Telugu and allegedly looking down upon on local media, the situation seems to be totally different in Tamil & Hindi, say rumour mongers. Compared to the blockbuster success of the first part in Hindi and Telugu, the Tamil version was a bit less and it didn't make buzz on par with the Hindi, Telugu then. So, naturally, the team is keeping fingers crossed on how the part-2 would be received in Tamil and wanted to invite big stars of the industry to set the buzz. With the plans too backfired, the makers are anxious that how the film would be received in Tamil.
