Taking a Cue from Mahatma Gandhiâs Famous Quote, âThe best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of othersâ, I âve always envisioned myself in helping others who are in need and started working as a community volunteer from the past 25 years. I am an active member for âTeam Squareâ TANAâs Emergency Assistance Management Team. Currently working as a Co-ordinator for TANAâs âMana Voori Kosamâ program which includes both Telangana and Andhra. I am also APNRT West Coast Regional co-ordinator, A Program which is aimed at helping /facilitating Telugu NRIâs. In the past i worked as TANA regional representative (2013-2015) and was a key member in west coast related TANA Activities and other TANA initiatives. Given below are some of my humble achievements: ⢠Organized Mega Medical Camp with more than 6000 members in Jan22 2017 ⢠Organized Fundraiser for Basavatarakam Cancer Trust in June 2016 ⢠Raised funds for Chennai Flood Victims in Dec 2015 & Collectively Fundraised for Nepal Earthquake Victims in June 2015. ⢠Organized fundraising event in San Francisco Bay Area, CA for HUDHUD Cyclone Victims through TANA and donated around $26K funds toward TANA Hudhud relief fund. ⢠Conducted âPublic Eye Campsâ sponsored by TANA at 10 locations in Ananthapur district. ⢠Actively participated in the fundraising events for charitable organizations like Sankara Eye Foundation, Hrudaya, CRY, ILP, Asha, March of Dimes, Hope and other local bay area organizations. If history is an Indication, I have proven my ability to achieve results and not just make empty promises. If you place your confidence in me and elect me as your Secretary for TANA, I assure you that your concerns will become my concerns. If elected, I Promise to give my all to my elected position and make sure your issues and concerns are fully addressed at the local and national level. Ee Kurrodu Eppatinuncho TANA lo vunnadu...He is fighting as single force...no support from so called big shots....Vontari poratam...and more over he is for bringing change in TANA policies... I like his attitude his honesty.... He has been fighting alone as a solider... Please elect Bhakta as secretary....We need people like Bhakta...Tana is all about groups and they do not want any one else come in to the management...Bhakta does noit belong to any group...he truly believes in community service.
