first inning lo even though he made 25 runs he was looking comfortable than the others excluding rahul.. he plays sweep and also uses feet than the others in team..might be because of lot of ranji games.. | ||

after seeing most of the test match i felt like indian's did not come with a strategy to play the australian spinners and it felt like karun nair and rahul were playing the spin better than the all the others.. part of it could be they may have played lot of ranji games and are well versed with playing the spin bowling on indian tracks than the rest.. I felt that there was something between Jadeja and Kohli and for some reason Kohli did not get Jadeja in early enough in the second innings.. Jadeja bowled few overs before lunch and got the wicket of smith and did not continue the spell right after lunch.. Once jadeja bowled he looked like a different bowler on this track and got wickets.. I think jadeja is very goo on india tracks and cannot be ignored on indian tracks as he attacks the stumps compared to ashwin.. Ashwin has more tricks but on sub-continent tracks Jadeja is difficult to play and Kohli should put his ego out and try to become objective than being stupid with this kind of silly politics.. I felt in second innings the indians tried to make the necessary adjustments to tackle the australian spin and did a better job by standing on the middle stump to Lyon and also used their feet to tackle the spin rather than doing the backfoot defense that got them off track till then.. In the hindsight they should have done this adjustment in the first innings rather than waiting for one more innings.. |
