Yeah, there were few first rounders even if we discount players that went to college in us like Hakeem, mutumbo, Ewing etc.. dirk doesn't feel international . also league has decent representation of German players. Shawn Bradley was on Dallas team already. Detlef schrempf was super star and key contributor with sonics.. we never talked about dirk like he was foreigner even like tony Parker, manu, pau gasol. May be becaus he doesn't have acccent If anything he changed the PF position. Generally teams used to have their best rebounders/ defenders. By drawing them out he created matchup nightmares. Ee model lone rockets tried Eddie griffin(RIP) as pf and failed badly after initial promise.. When Nash and him paired up with don Nelson (I think) there was some promise .. | ||

Dirk fault emi ledhu...GM is good though he made some mistakes like any GM. They have been good for a long time...so no high draft picks. Unna picks ni kooda mostly traded away in win now mode...mostly ok deals except for the Rondo disaster. No comparison uncle..Lakers missed the play-offs by 25 games last 2 years...Mavs are currently out of play-offs by 2 games..with some 20 games left. They have a shot at play-offs. Mavs should have tanked hard this season in what is considered one of the deepest and best drafts ever...thats a different topic. No point getting the 8th seed and getting rolled over by Warriors. | ||
