Dont do like to like comparison of being a consultant and how much you get paid per hour to what offshore companies charge... Companies cant hire consultants for majority of the work as they are expensive and no knowledge can be retained, there is a reason why Indian companies succeeded and will succeed.... higher profit margins were there 10 years back, not any more...and thats quite common in any industry to have a premium in early stages | ||

Anyways if you see the industry, i belive industry is moving in a very specific industry. May be somebody will coin this term soon... Iaas, Paas, Aaas will all become IaaU (IT as a Utility). there will be no services industry... just cloud providers. Either you are provide cloud as a part of very large IT utility company or consume it as part of small group in a company. | ||
