It is often said that Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu is the most insecure politician in the state. Some people say he suspects his own shadow and fears that he might be pulled down from power any time. Perhaps, his insecurity comes from his own actions of the past – when he pulled down his own father-in-law N T Rama Rao from power. Now, he fears his own family members might revolt against him one day or the other. So, he doesn’t believe his own son Lokesh Naidu. But as the age is catching up on him, he suspects Lokesh might pull off a coup against him any time. That is precisely the reason why Naidu is said to be unwilling to make Lokesh as an MLC and then take him into the cabinet. But there is a pressure from his wife Bhuvaneshwari and daughter-in-law Brahmani to take Lokesh into the cabinet by making him MLC. Even his brother-in-law Nandamuri Balakrishna said he would not act for the cabinet berth if Lokesh is accommodated. At the same time, Lokesh, too, managed the other family members like Harikrishna besides senior TDP leaders who brought pressure on Naidu to take his son into the cabinet. And Naidu has no choice but to accept the same. But he still fears Lokesh may take over the party on the lines of Akhilesh Yadav sooner or later!
