Idi naaku kuda artham kaaledu. but it is based on overdraft protection to checking account...Nenu inni rojulu overdraft protection ante they only give like max $500 anukunna regardless of deposited check amount. Paafam kurrolu andaru mosapoyaru around 1.5 crores.

classic case of 'Check Kiting' fraud
It has been in existence over a century..a big loop hole in US banking system

Unlike in India US banks credits checks immediately (before it is cleared) for the convenience of the customer

This guy used the loophole and deposited checks in other students account and requested to cash them as he do not have bank account...obviously those checks got returned and the balance went negative in the accounts
