When the movie is devotional movie there is no problem with a romantic song if that is situational..Ante kani bhakti cinema teesi chala goppa pani chestunnam kanuka Nalugu boothu paatalu pedatanu ante inka cheppedi emi vundi..Neither of the song is needed and it has diluted the movie to a large extent.. | ||

KRR Handled the Movie well Plus points - Nagarjuna superperformance - Saurab superb as Lord Venkateswara - Background, good Songs - Cinematography weak points - jerky screen play - scenes that could be taken to emotional highs are handled normally - Pre-Climax is weak and unconvincing to show why Rama dejected and started moving away - no need for Jagapathi babu episode - the main scene of balaji coming as Elephant, not shown properly - sridevi , bhodevi actress are not suited for those roles even though they tried their best - the way they come and go to balaji feels very comical.... - dialogues not upto the mark - no richness in the movie unlike Annmayya, in terms of any sets - could not take viewers thru devotional jounrey | ||

Basically its our apdamokkulavaadu Venkateswara swamy GOD movie... Many people, especially ladies do not want to say word "bad" from their mouths...They are either saying its OK or good and leaving at that... Raghavendra rao could have done wonders with this movie, could have takes the emotion to the new hights,,,,could have explained the Venkateswara avataram to everyone with a deep devotional touch... But he failed utterly....You will sit uncomfortably through some scenes, you will scratch your head and look around just to take your eyes off the screen at times...At times you feel the devotional element is hitting your heart but then you will be disappointed with the sheer ordinary routine movie touch... When you want to see the ammavaru the GOD in Padmavathi...you will be only looking at her as an actress...nothing else...same with Sri venkateswara swamy... Anushka was horrible and unbearable...The songs...in the songs the raghavendra rao touch..you will keep shaking your head with confusion.... Villains act similar as they act in a commercial movie...the divine Gods looks good but the way they act does not give divine and GOD feeling...The songs are raghavendra rao mark songs... It has a TV serial look and feel and do not feel pure devotional touch.... I have no idea why Raghavendra rao is making devotional touch... they way things proceed, at the end one feels it is just another movie made to make money rather then show casing and injecting the divine emotional peaceful Bhakti feeling... | ||

KRR's graph with devotional movies is going down the rotten path.. Except for Saurabh Jain there is nothing great to talk about. He has taken the support of his masala songs 2 times once in each half of the movie and anuskha was almost looking like an elephant and the dances she was doing was unbearable to watch.. Keeravani thinks of himself as the SPB(like brahmanandam in money) and keeps singing songs.. SPB should have sung the Akhilandakoti Brahmanda Nayaka song and it would have elevated that to the next level..Nag also did not do good job with the dialogue modulation and was better when there were easy dialogues.. Pandurangadu is better movie than this movie and KRR should be banned from making any more devotional movies going forward.. He could have done a better job eliminating on Anuskha's character and putting more effort in glorifying the actual story.. Instead he creates a fictional anuskha character that does not have any reason to be in the movie.. KRR adds more masala to spoil the actual taste of the dish.. Bahubali lo Anuskha ni replace cheste better because she is unbearable.. |
