London-based architect firm Norman Foster and Partners which is the master architect of Andhra Pradesh capital Amaravati will submit the final designs of Amaravati Administrative buildings on February 22nd. The designs are likely to be submitted on April 4th and will be finalized on April 19th. The Bhoomi Puja for Assembly will be held on July 20th and High Court Building on August 17th. According to the plan now the G+3 Assembly building construction will cost 245 Crore and is expected to be complete by 4th October 2018. High Court building will be constructed as G+4 and will cost 450 Crore. The Permanent Secretariat Building construction will begin on May 10th and will be complete by December 25th, 2018. These buildings will come up on 900 acres. If they are completed as per the plan now, they will remain as testimony for Naidu in 2019 election. Kaneesam intha varuku ayithe adhe padivelu. | ||

The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) will take up infrastructure works in the capital city in a phased manner. The authority, chaired by Chief Minister N. The US Department of Commerce's trade promotion arm, the US Commercial Service, CH2M and the Indian State of Andhra Pradesh Capital Regional Development Authority have entered into a contract to develop Amaravati as India's first smart state capital. As programme and project manager for Phase 1 of Capital City Amaravati, CH2M is responsible for program management for developing the city infrastructure spreading over 217km2 and project management for a government complex consisting of the High Court and State Assembly Building. |
