tammudu.. few important points... 1. If u dnt have any car buying experience in US, my suggestion would be to take somebody who has experience... some sales men will take u on a wild goose chase.. used cars are risky because u dnt know what isnt working... dnt buy as-is.. always buy something with has warrant for at least few months.. be careful 2. Sales men will intimidate you.. they will intimidate to such an extent that u might just take a decision on the spot just to avoid the situation... be strong 3. Do ur research before u go to the dealer.. like what might be the best price for the car (KBB or truecar etc will help).. research on things like extended warranty, service contract etc (may not be applicable for older models) but they will try to sell these so be prepared 4. Apply for loan from penfed, DCU etc i.e. get pre-approved so that u dnt have to go through the BS process at dealer or pay high interest rates.. 5. The fancy deals u see are sometimes just a bait to get u to the showroom 6. Finally - Negotiate.. mana desam la kooragayal chesinattu cheyyi.. dnt feel embarrassed... if u like a car and everything is ok with it... u "challenge" the sales guy.. tell him ur not leaving from here without a car.. give me the deal.. it may or may not work but give it a shot.. if u want any help sesani.ccdb @ gmail.... all the best! | ||
