No. B1 is not meant for working. It is supposed to be used for business trips and official visits. What I am pitching for is a work visa - where the max duration is 90 days. It gives a sense of what these guys are working on and also helps the people to get a hang of customer expectations and dynamics. Tarvata go back and work at offshore. There should be a short term work visa - for instance, three months duration tho - you can come to the US, learn the tricks of the trade in a particular project and go back to India annatlu undaali. H1, L1 ante 6 years saagadeesthaaru. Global delivery model lo economics wise, you can't get away from offshoring. At the same time, it makes sense to recruit local folks for customer facing and partner facing roles in the US. Technical team ni ee 3 months work visa lo you can get them here and send them back to India. Andaru happies. (Except the offshore guys of course  ) | ||
