I think ur not looking at the broader picture... Just H1s enni ane number isnt correct.. Consider the jobs outsourced.. that huge.. ikkada probably ur running the show with 10-15 H1s at the client kaani if u look at the overall picture each H1 here has 1-2 counter parts at least.. those are american jobs too.. There are certain techs where on site is one man show but everything is off shore... those are american jobs too.. Go to any of the IT offices in bay area apple, google, hp, ebay etc... floor mottam L1 and H1s untaaru... those are american jobs too.. Its a fact that desi companies have taken over the market and getting things done with low cost labor (i am one of them)... | ||

ofcourse it is jobs bhayya ... but still compared to jobs (around 150 million as per current stats.. not that everyjob is mainstream one) .. % is very less. Its more of playing to galleries than actual impact to the country. 1 million jobs during course of 10 years.. economy increased and lot of things changed.. considering all the things, H1B itself is not a major thing. Infact H1B's genrally contribute to tax and i have not seen anyone sitting idle in H1B for long .. its a revenue stream. | ||
