This!!! at the risk of repeating myself, it is not just the ban that is being discussed as issue. It is the way that is going . 90 days is to test the waters . They are creating confusion and making adjustment on fly(green card .. yes and no) based on reception.. there is an article on medium called 'Trial balloon for coup' .. Thats exactly my point they blocked kids women students professors etc etc. you are saying 2-5 hours, i would say overnight to one whole day. In any case this is absolutely wrong. This is the reason for cry in the streets. | ||

EO never identified the guidelines. EO defines policy and DHS sets the guidelines to execute the policy. While setting up the guidelines, there was a back and forth about "permanent residents" and "dual citizens" security screening. should they request waiver or it is granted automatically?. initially they went with former and that led to detaining/stopping "permanent residents" at airports. they were all cleared in 2-5 hours of their arrival. I do not think the big noise is for 'ban'. He can ban the citizens from those 7 countries obtaining visas and applying for GCs or any other kinds of visa programs indefinitely, in fact i support him banning any non white person entering in to country indefinitely. or any person of a particular religion. The outcry is for signing a EO on a friday and barring entry of legal permanent citizens , kids, and women who are in transit, waiting in arrival airports and those who went to see their siblings, ill parents and who just went to visit their homes. This is a clear punishment for what their "Type" did in france, CA and other parts of europe. The intention is clear | ||

Can someone confirm this? Trump's executive order, signed Friday, bars citizens of seven Muslim-majority countries from entering the United States for the next 90 days, suspends the admission of all refugees for 120 days and indefinitely suspends the Syrian refugee program. If the above executive order is only for 90 days why are muslims making such a big noise? Am I missing something here? They can always enter the US after 90 days can't they? |
