I had a 2012 MBP 15" with DVD Drive. Replaced DVD drive with 1TB SSHD and regular HDD with 256 GB SSD.. its horse. I also had a personal cloud built with my wifi router, it got a 5GB cloud storage connected to everything including my MBP. so, unlimited storage in my world.

NTFS can be read by OSX but it cant write by default. You have to use thirs party drivers or enable it through some configuration

Me previous hard drive will be either in ntfs or fat format.. so me drive mac nundi read authundi but you wont be able to write to it..

Either format your hard drive to Ex-FAT from your mac so you can use in both in windows or mac

or

Paragon NTFS for mac ani untundi.. adi cracked version torrents lo vetukkuni.. install cheskondi.. reboot the mac and you can read or write to any ntfs formatted drive..

2nd di best option because you dont need to go through formatting the drive.

Let me correct my question. I have a external portable Harddrive which has all the data I wanted. So, Can I access the hard drive from Mac is my question. Somewhere I read that, NTFS has no issues in the latest OS.

there is no problem with read. But you can't write back unless the disk is formatter in FAT or eXFAT(Mac's version). Next time when you get a new external hard disk make sure to connect to Mac first and format with disk utility on mac to FAT and then you can use on windows or Mac. if you use with Windows first, i don't know the rational behind but the disk is automatically formatted in NTFS and you won't be able to write to disk from other than windows.

hard drive mac compatible aite no problem, but you will have to get OS installed on that disk. Any apple store will do this free of charge. You will need to plug in your disk and go to them, they will power it on, and install mac os in less than an hour

Windows lo keyboard commands vaste, Mac is no different. Instead of using Ctrl, you use Command button in mac

keyboard commands lekapote, you will have to get used to the mouse

weirdest thing for me when I switch to mac is, there's no page up button in mac keyboard. Have to use Cmd + up arrow, scrolls all the way to the top

But you can run python right in terminal, and that's a big plus. install homebrew and you're all set

I went through a hard disk -> SSD change

long story short, you will lose data. If you don't want to lose the data, buy a usb dongle and plug it to this disk
