He is never afraid of come to net...the only problem with him is his judgement on when to come to the net..I have been following this chap from 2014 itself and his game improved by leaps and bounds the wide range of shots he can play only resembles young Fed... with his smooth and perfect serve, he can back it up with volleys without fear There is no need to 'exhibit' all court play when u r playing against one of the best baseliners in the lot Guntur, Hyderabad, Andhra, Telagana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka first....India last!!! | ||

Fed fans have accepted "Baby Federer" tags to Gasquet and Dimitrov, so they would gladly welcome Sasha (who is a big league Federer fan) as a Fed clone. The comparison, though, is about playing style and not just the potential on display. If we go just by potential and/or success, we can label even Nadal and Djokovic as being "like" Federer since their achievements are in the same league as Federer's.
This is what makes Federer unique as a tennis player/sportsman. It is just not the success. Artistry and genius (two separate things) in sports generally don't go all the way on the achievement scale (example Edberg/McEnroe/Mecir/Safin/Rios/Gasquet/Dimitrov). Federer brings these two qualities and combines them with possibly the greatest Tennis career to date. Zverev is an all-court player? Sorry, far from it. He's a power baseliner like Djokovic, Murray and many other players in the last decade. He has a lot of work to do on improving his game "inside the baseline" - in the forward transition and volleying department. Zverev is an improved version of Cilic/Soderling - power baseliner with huge serve. He has put together a great team and in the next 12-18 months he might start a new era in Men's tennis - something that Delpotro/Cilic/Berdych promised but could never achieve. He moves great for his height might...I have n't watched the total match when he played against Rafa..but surely he is technically sound , not just an aggressive base liner, might have handled Rafa with out taking his chances at net ...couple of years back there were comments about his serve , he worked very well on his serve and now you can see scuds going through... BTW this teenager has defeated Roger couple of times I think Guntur, Hyderabad, Andhra, Telagana, Tamilnadu, Karnataka first....India last!!! | ||
