Experts: A friend of mine got a GC and considering his profession sorted out.
So far he has been working on percentage basis. His employer pays the Health/Dental/Vision insurance and on 80-20 percent basis. Now he is thinking of self incorporation to work on 1090. He has asked me the side effects of self incorporation. I got the thoughts of maintaining the Health insurance (costs around $1.6 to $1.8 K per month) and other expenses/taxes of self Inc. I was suggesting better to be on 80-20 basis compared to the additional cost of self employment. But still I feel that I may be wrong. Pl add your pointers so that I can better advice him. Thanks.
