Right. I stand corrected. What I meant was AI.

Post apocalyptic world lo...

As more and more people depend on UBI because everything is automated, the overall spending capacity of the society comes down gradually. This means the economy is going to get affected. Businesses who implement these automation bots will have less and less revenue generated by sale of goods or services. It will come to a point where companies can't produce services because there are no takers. That means, taxes comes down and in turn will affect the UBI.

Very interesting and scary times ahead. It may so happen that humanity gets wiped out not by a nuclear holocaust but by automation.

Not reporting. Most of the articles we read on the internet are already generated by bots. Fiction writing, creative writing etc are probably the last bastions to go.

Automation is going to be a huge challenge. Mana varaku OK. Mana kids will find incredibly difficult to find a job. Creative careers better anukuntaa going forward. If your kid shows promise in arts, language, writing etc - let her pursue that line of career.

I agree..i am of broadly the same line of thinking...what we are teaching the kids nowadays might be totally irrelevant 20 years down the line. They just have to explore different fields, who knows what will bear fruit down the years.

Engineering and to some extent Medicine are gone case.

Universal Basic Income is a good idea but the problem is - those who get this income have to forego all other subsidies. Whether they will have enough to sustain is the question.

Developed world lo probably they would be able to pull it off (UBI). India and China lo this will result in a chaos and a degeneration of the society overall

Extremely rare occurence..automation future lo baga theesthadhi jobs ni and of course manufacturing jobs kooda gone...so where will the jobs come to sustain all our people. It is alright for the developed countries to jump on the technology bandwagon as their gross wealth (not GDP) is already high. We have been forced into a corner where neither do we have jobs and neither do we have the wealth to provide for social security or a universal basic income which appears to a likelihood in the near future.
