Jana Sena Chief Pawan Kalyan met Krishna Lanka Dalit farmers and also Mulalanka farmers on Wednesday at his party office in Hyderabad. The farmers gave a representations to Pawan Kalyan as how they are suffering due to Andhra Pradesh government’s decisions. The Krishna Lanka Dalit farmers expressed their concern over the lands that were taken by the government in Land Pooling for construction of state capital Amaravathi. They said those lands were aligned lands given in 1954 and 1974 for Dalits. The worrying factor for them is that, The compensation for the land of one acre is 600 Square yards whereas others are getting 1450 square yards. They urged Pawan to take initiative to do justice to them. While West Godavari Mulalanka farmers concern was that, the mud dug for the Polavaram project is been dumped in 207 acres which belongs to poor farmers. The mud dug can be dumped into 400 acres barren lands but the contractors are dumping due to traveling expenses. The farmers told Pawan that despite giving representations to contractors and the Minister, no action has been taken in this regard. Reacting Pawan Kalyan said, Janasena’s policy is development and also protecting the prospects of people. He said, He would take this matter to the government and if their is no action taken then he would plunge into action.
