My india Trip Details 1) DemonetiZation: No Effect except for real estate, most of the people in the ATM are paid coolies( as far as i saw, 2-3 times and that in hyd) i had no issues at all, some people from this DB gave me old money and got them new 2000 notes  enta ani questions vestaru, close to 3 one thing i understand, nobody can change indian mentality, already 2000 accumulation started, people are finding too many ways to cheat But people have realized Modi will come with too many rules so very careful if couple of rich folks are caught, he will win with the sentiment easily Most of the middle class and low middle are happy that rich are panicking 2) Traffic: worst na matta in hyd, anywhere to go its a life hazard, orey KCR ga ne ayya, make roads better, half of my day time spent in car 3) Restaurants Tried :; MOB and Highlands( beligian beer- hype), OTM( good), Prost( didnt like it, service sucked), lot of beef dishes Kritunga( edo bbq fish great annaru, bokkala undi) ulavacharu( bongula chicken dish peru, was ok for me, people raved) Karampodi( close friend di so cant comment) Syala Drive in( Navdeep gadidi, tried 3-4 times, good food, he stays in my friends apt, saw him couple of times in the elevator, every time, with 2-3 girls) chutneys- avg Absolute BBQ- good but my family thought was it was ok spicy avenue: andaru biryani too good ante vellam, i felt very normal zero40brewing: just opened, microbrewery, good decor eat india company: good food shawarma- sucked tried some more but cant remember names general observation, all restaurants too crowded, india lo intlo no cooking a feeling, everybody is eating out and nobody cares about bill starbucks on road 36 next to bubbles was empty every time i went, looks like its more of meeting point or address point than coffee shop 3) saw lot of movies 4) Tirupathi : was there on day of GPSK audio, NBK stayed in the next guest house( Sri Krishna by Reliance) didnt meet him but saw the motorcade, CBN and Pranab mukherjee also stayed in same place 5) supposed to Meet RCT, Mahesh Babu and chiru, sirish cancelled the meeting with RCT and Chiru due to audio function fiasco, Razesh was trying to set this meeting up Saw couple of small heroines in jubilee hills will post later .those who are serious about their watches display them prominently, those who are more concerned with style and branding present you with aircraft carriers and hide their watches. |
