take to the care.com guys on all the legal things... ask them as many questions as u can.. injury, insurance, their responsibility in case of robbery etc etc etc.. no question is silly when it comes to kid's safety... Definitely have the cameras installed... few visible and few invisible.. If anything happens to nanny or kid because of the things in your house, u might be responsible... but again depends on how it happened... there is no simple answer to it... If she falls in ur restroom because of something you left on the floor or she slips on the steps because of ur layout she can always file for a law suit.. no law says she cannot sue you just because she is working there... In this country ur closest friend or your own family can sue you if they get hurn in ur home.. who wins depends on case to case anuko... like many others said their is always risk... but u cant avoid hiring nanny... so be clear ga process telusuko... buy renters insurance if it helps.. naa home insurance la i think i have up to 250K for such cases where people get injured in my home... I know what you are going through VJA. We changed 3 nannys before we found one on Care. She has been workingbfor us for 2 yrs now. Do thorough background check and call as many references as you can. Pick someone who has more experience and have enough good reviews on care.com. Good Luck! | ||

Care.com only referral service. They only do background checks. After, she starts working its only between you and her. There is a small risk of lawsuit but I don't think its bad. Injury lawsuits do not stand most of the time. Antha bayapadi decisions teesukolemu. Many teachers work as nannies. If you like her, continue and use nanny cams. | ||
