If you are not overly ambitious like me, still look for FTE only.. same sources, same or similar technologies, preferred location and definitely better salary compared to Indian IT Firms. W2 position ante Client or Prime-Vendor will have to pay you salary, with benefits.. which means you'd have to go FTE with that company. C2C is Contract-to-Corp.. Client Corp ki coming as a Contractor, no benefits, no sick leaves, no casual leaves etc etc.. Client, and Prime-Vendor have agreed to pay X amount every hour that is approved as acceptable work... Your employer will bill that amount, take their share for handling your visa, running your pay-roll taxes etc, and pay you salary... C2C means corp 2 corp, means there is a layer(vendor) between your employer and client...W2 means there is no vendor, Client-Employer....Basic ga whoever is holding your H1, you are working on W2 with them.. Don't move to consulting if you are making good in FTE...Not worth it unless you are highly talented and working in latest technologies... | ||
