At the beginning of the career, AMZN is definitely a plus. Should take it. no questions. AMZN on resume gives your resume enough weight to be called to interview at any company in future. If you don't mind what's the range for him? The structure is peculiar.1st 2 yrs base+45-50k sign on spread out each pay period. Next year it's base+40k spread out. 3rd year just base and stocks kick in...around 150-200stocks..which today is 120-130k vested 4 yrs..if stock goes up u mKe a kill if goes down u r screwed. But ur paychsck falls all of a sudden to base and u nesd to hang on looking at stocks for 4yrs.. Above All what is driving is amazon on resume and opportunities that open up. Happy Vizag | ||

ladies ledu. gents ledu. andarikee okkate... no exceptions. I know a few who worked. especially SEA - arachakam. Bay area.. a little relaxed. but SEA thinks Bay area ppl are not contributing as much. with a few exceptions in some teams, it is very highly demanding work place. you are expected to work like in a startup even today. My friend works in Seattle Amazon, he did MBA here in USA and campus placement. He always says amazon sucks employees blood like anything. When I was there at his home, he always comes back from work between 6 to 7 pm, then he work from home till 9:00pm. But pay scale is really awesome, that is the only reason he is not leaving the company. If you want relaxed life, simply a big NO to amazon. If you want money then go for it. But life in Seattle sucks than Amazon job. If you see the sun any day..it will be a big thing in Seattle. Always cloudy and little drizzling 24 hours...oh man horrible. | ||
