Not true completely - 50k and above PAN requirement is still there...and also PAN is required for cumulative deposits during the Nov 9 to Dec 30 window. "In addition to the existing requirement of quoting of PAN in respect of cash deposits in excess of Rs 50,000 in a day, quoting of PAN will now also be mandatory in respect of cash deposits aggregating to Rs 2.5 lakh or more during the period November 9, 2016 to December 30, 2016 as per an amendment notified by CBDT," As per a notification, banks, co-operative banks and post offices will have to report to the tax department cash deposits exceeding Rs 50,000 in a single day or aggregating to more than Rs 2.5 lakh during the period November 9, to December 30, 2016. | ||

its frozen that you cant withdraw more than 10000 per month, its not linked to showing income, tuglak decision by tuglak government in restricting withdrawals with out caveats | ||

Above 2.5lakhs veste automatic gaa choostaam ani chepparu kadaa daanilo pattern choosedi emundi, its a rule... nenu cheppedi deeni gurinchi, upto 2.5 its made white, and upto 2.5 break up chesi chaala mandi converted/converting to white, no one can do anything about it | ||

bank lo deposit cheyyagane black white ayyinattu kadhu ga...I think IT dept is already on their task scanning all deposits/patterns since nov8. Unaccounted deposits greater than certain limit will be taxed/penalised. Jandhan already limits set chesi beyond that limit frozen unless source of income proven. | ||
