Also, in a democracy, opposition has every right to exercise their right to call for strike. But, what is shameful is their failure to recognize the people's will and their intention of supporting status-quo and opposing the effort to eradicate black money. Hope they learnt a lesson and hope they realized that CALL for BUNDH's and STRIKE's is so 19th century technique. | ||

GREAT that STRIKE was UTTER FLOP. SLAP on OPPOSITION PARTIES. It is undeniable fact that this EXERCISE is a very BIG inconvenience to people. But the MAJORITY (95%+) people's spirit is AWESOME. And this DEMONETIZATION effort is the BIGGEST in India (and probably in the world) is going on with MINIMAL disturbances is UNBELIEVABLE. To the distractors, we all know that there will be some problems and technical difficulties and the success of this effort is NOT 100% and there might be better ways to achieve the goals, but we need to give kudo's to the effort and people's support to this effort. | ||

The Left Front was left red-faced as its 12-hour strike to protest the Centre's demonetization of high-denomination currency notes failed to evoke much response from the people, with front chairman Biman Bose acknowledging that the "thought" behind it was wrong.
