Ideally, that is a question to my employer. Will my employer need my services after the expiration of my H1-B Visa, and what are they going to do about it, given they have already initiated my Green Card or Permanent Resident status processing. I will obey my employer's decision in that regard. visa application is designed to cover all kinds of visas. H1B visa allows you to immigrate. F1B does not. So, answering that question has effects for F1. If I am in OP's shoes, I will say: My employer told me that I need to work on his issue for the validity of my visa validity, So, I will return as soon as my work is done. In other words, you are saying that as long as I am legally eligible and required, I can work. | ||
