One interesting story shared from Vizag... a bus conductor of a bus travelling Chennai to Vizag....after reaching vizag told the travellers that he had 10k cash in lower denomination and if any one would like to exhange their 2k notes can exchange but 2k per person. obviously....there was a bank loot in J&K a week before they were gunned down....couple of 2000 notes found...what is big deal...It was provided by someone who exchanged...or from loot...both recovered. Does it mean it is a failure...if a tellalist or naxal robs some notes...that doesnt mean it is a failure... 2. 8 Lakh in deposits of old notes...but same is not disbursed in new notes...Out of these now unaccounted will be taxed and or penalised.
