1. Electric car: BMW says i3 is more recyclable materials and eco friendly than a Tesla. Inka electricity ante, chances are you are using non-renewable sources of fuel only. in US, California has a bill to use 30% renewable energy by 2020 and it's succeeded so well, they are thinking 50% renewable energy by 2030. Rest of country lo only Texas has some equivalent wind energy So, to truly make an impact, better not buy a car 2. Wind towers are almost a scam. My view is Yes for all. However, what I am more interested here is to know what we can and will do about it? Of course this question is only for those who believe we, humans, caused the global warming. If you don't believe so, you are still welcome to participate in the discussion  I have a few questions though. 1. How green an Electric car really is? Where is the electricity coming from? How is it generated? What is the CO2 footprint per mile of an electric car - considering all these aspects? 2. How green are the solar panels? How green is the process of building a solar photo voltaic cell or a Tesla powerwall? What is the CO2 footprint of a unit of a solar electricity - taking into account the environmental impact of building those solar cells? 3. Is it already too late? No matter what we do, we are going to be doomed? Have we already crossed the point of no return? 4. What are you, personally, going to do about this? What lifestyle changes are you willing to do? My next car can be electric. However, I want to understand how green an electric car really is before I buy it. If I ever buy a house in the UK - I can cover it solar panels and invest in a Tesla Powerwall and feed the excess back to the grid. I can buy a bicycle this weekend and use it for office commute and keep my gas guzzler in the garage. What else can we do? | ||

I do believe getting hotter when touching the globes May be that makes the globes hotter too So all hot hot getting hotter and becomes a globes warming | ||

having said yes to both the questions, I believe that transition to clean tech, etc. should be smoother than the doomsday scenario presented in the media.. first of all, hollywood schmucks should stop dealing with climate change as if their lives depended on it.. economists should come to the forefront and put a dollar value to the problems we are facing right now - poverty, unemployment, climate change, etc. and give them a priority ranking...and we should tackle these demons accordingly in a prioritised manner.. I want to hear about climate change from an economists perspective...ofcourse scientists unanimously agree that it is a real deal.. whether its real or not, I would prefer to keep our environment clean anyways to be on the safe side.. | ||
