Thanks for the response dudes. EB3 PD back in 2008, EB2 140 approved few months ago (not a concurrent filing, so EB2 140 doesn't have the old PD on it)...recent ga filing date use chesi 485 filed...but the question is - 485 receipt meeda employment preference column lo EB3 ani undi with 2008 PD...but EAD n AP forms accepted and receipts sent so aa column lo EB2 undaali ani nenu anukuntunna..is EB3 a typo in that column anedi naa question ? | ||

There is nothing called PORTING from the official books. Those are separate(EB1/EB2/EB3) petitions under the same class(Employment class). The beneficiary gets the best priority date of these petitions when the AOS is being adjusting the immigration status. | ||

In case eb3 lo 485 already file chesina scenario unte: New 485 cheste, background check etc, mallee modalu pettali, and who knows how long it may take naku telisina cases, ide chesaru, even when eb2 company lawyer adviced them to file new 485 Never filed 485 in eb3 aite obviously go ahead and file for 485 when dates open.
