I think we need to look at Cash and balance with Reserve Bank of India 27,106.09 ( CRR) I think Total reserves means CRR + SLR ( Satuatory Liquid raio) , currently SLR is 21% and CRR is 4% (SLR can be in gold and other securities). we cant exactly determine how much money was with banks , ATMs and post offices etc on Nov 8th. ICICI is 3rd biggest bank in India after SBI and BOB. Govt says 5 lacs deposited so far , we have to wait until 30th Dec to get actual figure. | ||
