30-70 to OT. While the move was gutsy and appreciable, as things stand, the ramifications are getting more clear. First of all Govt. has failed to differenciate between Black Money and Unaccounted Money. In a bid to stop fake currency and black money of bigwigs, the unaccounted money of the general public is being sacrificed. While we should eventually strive to move to a cashless and transperant scenario, the hasty manner in which this has got implemented is dealing a deathblow to the small business community especially. Unaccounted Money is the vry product of the Govt. due to flaws in its system. How is it fair to penalize the public for the same? Even in the agrisector, most of the transactions are unorganised as the nature of business is tht. You cannot expect the traders and farmers to solely do bank transactions as it simply doesnt work out tht way. How shall the business be done in this vry Jan-Feb crop season when the traders do not have Cash with them? Repurcussions of this move are now being felt much deeper than anticipated. Lots of businesses are already being badly affected with no short term solution in sight. This cud hav been implemented in a much more planned and phased manner without affecting the aam aadmi. As things stand, Mallya is happy, Gaali is happy, Subratho Roy is Happy, Jagan is happy and Babu-KCR r happy. Common man and Business community is badly suffering. | ||
