I know many of you have been thinking how it is going to help india?

Let us talk in simple way. RBI and other financial analyst were saying that 500 and 1000rs was helping corrupted people to do their transaction. They were asking govt to curb it.

According to RBI India totaly money in notes is something like 500lac crores. In that 200 lac crores is of 500rs and 1000rs.

That means india has printed 200 lac crores of 500 and 1000 rs notes. That means 200lac crores should be in circulation in market of india and abroad in the form of 500 and 1000rs. But according to RBI it is 300lac crores.. that means 100 lac crores is fake money.

So .. it looks like your 500 and 1000 rs just hold the 60% of actual its value. 40% is fake currency.

In that 300lac crores.. govt is only able to account 100 lac crores which going through proper means.. that mean another 100lac crores is corrupted money. It is used for under bench transaction and never would be in bank accounts.

If this countinues.. RBI only printed 200lac crores of 500 and 1000rs notes but after 5 years 500lac crores will be in circulation.. that means its value will drop to 20 to 30%. That will be melt down of indian currency value. Dollar will be 100+rs. India will go to dogs..

It was necessary to cancel this notes.. else we would be in very bad shapre after couple of years.. Well and good.. decision is made. What will happen now..

Now india can account for 200 lac crores of 500rs and 1000 rs which it printed. Becoz of process to covert old notes to new notes.. Govt may get just 100 lac crores and rest of the money may just become paper slips.. so people who has black money would loose their money...

Now govt after march 2017 would come final figure. if govt has got only 100 lac crores back.. It can print another 100 lac crores of money.. and its govt money.

Now govt can push that 100 lac crores into economy by building massive project.. govt got money back.. India rupees has got its value back.. Now your white 500rs and 1000 rs would hold same value what it say or may be higher.

Another advantage. People of india would get into main stream of tax payers. Govt can estimate properly on thier budget. Dollar value against Indian rupee will go down. It may come to 50rs to dollar or 40rs.

Fine.. will corruption would be controlled with this move?

No way.. Indian system is still same. No acocuntability. When india govt push the newly printed money by building massive project, that money would get into corrupted peoples pocket same way.. Again market would flooded with black money..

Unless the system is changed.. thing would not change.. but common people would pay taxes now as they are scared that raw cash may not hold value now on.
