usually no. But an independent agent shops different companies and gives you the cheapest quote. State farm 6 months quote, was the same as Travelers 1 year quote for the same coverage. I used to switch between Geico and progressive. Went with travelers this time. Customer service wise, I was happy with Geico, but couldn't justify paying almost double the premium.
