Hammayya.. innallaku naa maata inkokalu chepparu there is nothing called "H1B Transfer", "Green Card" etc in the official books. its a continent way of messing up our minds. H1B is not like a Singleton design pattern.. you can instantiate n number of objects as long as the class is in the scope :-) | ||

there is nothing called "H1B transfer"....when u apply with a new employer, it is a new petition that needs to be approved.....you can file for a new H1b and it can get approved even if the previous H1b was revoked....and yes, the employer is supposed to revoke the H1 if you don't work for that employer anymore... | ||

if you no longer work for him, he can revoke it. legally, he is actually supposed to revoke it and offer you tickets to go back to your native country. I know a person who got f***cked like this. His employer applied for revocation, he tried to find a new job. found a new job and applied for H1B. but unfortunately, 2 days before new employer applied, his H1B was already revoked. now that I am typing this, I have a new question - If the H1B is revoked, how was he able to transfer it?
