US gave a sh!t about India, and supported Pakistan because Pak is neighbor of Afghanistan. And clearly, US was aware of Russia's interest in overtaking Afghanistan's regime, because, again, Afghan is neighbors with some of the prime-countries in OPEC. Although, Russia's involvement began only in 1979, clearly, it must have been planned in the early 60s during the Cold War era. Now, why is Russia interested to get close to OPEC nations - due to Aramco. America is not a member of OPEC, but they literally rule them. America created the OPEC, and when Saddam tried not to play their puppet anymore, we all know what that led to. What followed were uprisings in Egypt, Libya, countries of the OPEC, to overthrow Dictatorships, all funded by America, in order to avoid another situation such as Iraq. Only in Syria were the Americans surprised to face this all new terror, we know as ISIS. Now who's funding them? Any guesses, that's right, Russia!!! Turkey, a NATO partner of America, dropped Russia's Fighter Jets, what followed next, nothing, no retaliation!!! The Cold War era was just about 2 decades of a long standing Century long Oil Wars, that is going-on even now. Russia claims they are going to destroy ISIS, but haven't done nothing so far.
