Independently this is an ok movie and tht too thanks to Chiru. But no way near the original. Magic is missing. Srikanth was never anywhere close to Arshad Warsi and Paresh wasn't a patch on Bomman. And I feel Chiru's image was way too big for the character Shankardada, where Sanjay Dutt didn't hav such issues. Anyways...we shud feel happy tht this ended as a hit. It was never worth Chiru. No wonder the sequel bombed despite most of the cast n crew. | ||

aa rojullo my review : Congratulations chiru fans for your hero's grand success. MY movie RATING 3.5/5 MY RATING for CHIRU 5/5 Since all of us know the story of the movie ,i don't go into the story details. Lets talk about the changes,highlights and negative aspects. Its out n out n out n out n out n out CHIRANJEEVI's performance. NOTHING ELSE is good in the movie. Especially in the first half , After 20-25 mins of the begining you will start experiencing the MONSTER COMIC PERFORMANCE by chiranjeevi. I was stunned by his comedy timing. The comedy fire set by chiru , splitted on screen just like lava from a razing volcano. All other actors ,technicians are seen no where in first half. 1st song PATTU PATTU is just O.k 2 nd song shankar dada title song ROCKS. esp in the last 20 seconds of this song, you can see chiranjeeevi's NATA,NAATYA viswaroopam. 3rd song Chaila chailaaaa...Also very good . Significant change from the original version is PERFECTLY TIMED use of TELUGU to english DUbbed butler english PROVERBS by chiru ..He used 4 such proverbs, which generated great response from the crowds. those are... ENKI PELLI CHUBBI CHAAVUKI VACHINDHI -- ENKI MARRAIGE , SUBBI Death anniversary VANDA GODLANI TINNA RAABANDHU , OKka tupaanu ki chasthundhi --- ONe vulture eat 100 buffaloes , ONe cyclone dead. MUNDHU undhi musalla pandaga-- In front, CROCODILE festilvallu.. ILLU ALAKAGAANE PANDUGA KAADHU - House pasting..no festival. APART from above 4 sentences, CHIRU's walking style to college is very sweetly performed. Its again a unbeliavable treat to FANS. After the interval , Movie become sluggish and scratchy. The 2 songs in the second half are so ...so... In last song chiru played TABALA STEP/ Mrudangam step for split second ,which i am anticipating him from long long time :-) OVERALL , chiranjeevi atani natana naatyam tappithe emi kanapadadhu cinemaaloo... MUNNABHAI lo unna CRUX ELEMENTS anni totally missing in SHANKAR DADA.. S.D's COMEDY OVER POWERED SENTIMENT and FEEL factor of MUNNABHAI.. second half lo vachee Sentiment scenes ki , first half lo unde supportive/build up scenes anni comedy tho replace ceyyatam valla FEEL TOTAL ga miss ayyi senti scenes anni oka farse gaa artificial ga tayaaru ayyaayi.. First half lo okati ,second half lo okati unnecesaary fights pettaaru mass kosam. but aa fights mass ni aakattukune vidhangaa levu.. "MAMUUUU" word was replaced with "MAAAYYAAAAA..." in typical chiru slang. "JADHOO KI JAPPI "was replaced with "JANTAR MANTAR KAALI..CHOO MANTAR KELI" (Irritating one) BRAIN DEATH character was replaced with 12 yr OLD BOY with same problem. As anticipated SHANKAR DADA 's father n mother characters artists choice gone terrribly wrong. GIRISH KARNAD and mother role played by someone (arjun lo MAHESH's mother) didn't suit. PARESH RAWAL also failed to recreate the magic of impeccable BOMANI IRANI in the role DEAN. SRIKANTH..Oh god .. NO audience laughed atleat once for him. His telangana accent sucks.. OVER ALL 2 terrific songs , 3 so so songs...CHIRANJEEVI nunchi FANS em korukuntaaro aaa styles aa comedy...FIRST HALF LO oka 50 mins very good. Other than that it disappoints you. ee faults anni, Chiru tana comic mania tho Fans ki ye maatram teliyanivvadu. BENEFIT SHOW FANS TALK MAATRAM KOTALU DAATUTONDHI..but i strongly think that generating that 27 crores SHARE BACK ,will be a MAXIMUM dECEnt JOB for SHANKAR DADA m.B.B.S.... MUNNABHAI tho compare chesukunte S.D = 0.60 * munnabhai HERO CHARACTERIZATIOn and PERFORMANCE S.D = 3 * M | ||

Naa Pere Kanchanamala: This song is item song with Chiranjeevi and Gaur Khan with Rohit being entertained. Pawan Kalyan did a 7-second special appearance while pouring some beer into the mouth of Srikanth. And the appearance of Pawan Kalyan has got the maximum response compared to other responses in the entire film. This song also scores well with the theme of the film as it is meant to entertain a cancer patient whose days are numbered. mari aarojulloo.. } | ||

Jeevi review Chiranjeevi: Chiranjeevi displays an unparalleled command over each and every aspect of his authoritative presence on the screen. Be it acting or dances or fights, he excels exuberantly and how! His body language is marvelous and suits the character to the T. Since this film has ample scope for comedy, he brings out his extraordinary comedy timing. The most entertaining bit in the entire cinema is the way he walks (a total bewarse walk) when Srikanth requests him. Above all, what makes Chiranjeevi's performance more memorable in this film is the touching histrionics he dishes out in emotional scenes. Generally, fans do not accept when Chiranjeevi cries. But the story of the film is narrated in such a beautiful way that audience become compassionate about Chiranjeevi when he cries on the screen. There is tremendous response in the theater when he translates Telugu samethalu [proverbs] in English. The way Chiranjeevi interprets 'Sunita' as 'Sun'+'aita' by reading in English is side-splitting. |
