ante usual gaa alanti panlu cheyyam kadaa. paiga DONUT tyre. I was not sure/confident of the quality of the replacement I did then especially with whole family driving back about 400 miles on such tyre. being sunday no shops at all. The only mistake I did was drive back on Donut at 50mph. Instead should have taken a hotel/motel and stayed somewhere. In this case I did not see the video but was not sure what prompted him to lift the car and go under it.. OT, Just parking ki ayithey you are good with hand brake and gear in park. If you have just a front wheel drive, your rear wheels are free with gear in park. You are getting into trouble when you lift your car in the front with just hand brake. It will work but not safe as hand brake can fail anytime. That's why you need wheel blocks to keep the car from moving. ee case lo he must have forgot to use the hand brake and the slope of driveway could be flat enough to give him any warnings. Even if you have the car on jack stands, without a hand brake/wheel blocks you can easily tip the stands just by pushing the car or even just leaning on it. | ||

hand brake itself is not enough. you need wheel blocks, good quality jack stands in addition which are minimum. >>> can u explain more ? I didnt ever work on car , but nuvu cheppe dani prakaram kondari homes unde location wise drive way or curbside parking almost 45 degrees lo pedatamu with handbrake.. not safe then ? esp kids around | ||

Regardless of engine is ON. Car might roll forward or backward if hand break isn't applied. Usually driveways aren't flat. Make sure to apply hand break. | ||
