This is the key IMO....raithulu baagundaali yekkadainaa.....manamunna situation loo water chaalaa important....

But from an election point of view the other promises are important. People wishes for a separate Telangana state because they thought they'd get free houses or jobs or free land or reservations or free education with boarding. If they feel cheated, the backlash may be severe.

Given that Telangana was formed as surplus state (100% revenues of Hyderabad even for the 10 year common capital period), let's look at the status of some of the key promises made by TRS during the agitation for statehood:
1. 2 BHK housing scheme - 1/5 (Negligible progress)
2. KG to PG free education with free boarding - 0/5 (even hardcore TRS fans doubt this promise)
3. Jobs (1 lac unfilled? One per household?) - 2/5 (Going too slow)
4. 12% reservation for Muslims - 1.5/5 (Despite KCR's strong talk about practicality, it doesn't seem feasible)
5. 12% reservation for STs - 0.5/5 (not much talk, TRS aiming to give it a slow death?)
6. 3 acres land to all landless dalits - 0.5/5 (acquisition is going so slow that it may take more than 100 years)
7. First CM post to Dalits - 0/5 Already reneged despite KCR's promise to chop off his own head if he doesn't fulfill this

Bonus schemes (not part of promises during agitation or elections):
1. Mission Kakatiya - 4/5 (Implementation may not be perfect but the scheme is very good)
2. Mission Bhageeratha/Water grid - 3.5/5 Good scheme, decent progress

Feel free to give your own ratings and also add more promises that I may have missed.
