Look at public response .. **Their allegation that BJP is using the surgical strikes for political ends arises from a Congress which did nothing to thwart Pakistan misbehaving with India for long. After the present government came to power at the centre, the Army was given full discretion to do what ever was considered by the Army appropriate to deal with terrorists. On the contrary it was the UPA government's Home Minister who provided safe passage to real terrorists and who accused on the contrary "saffron" terrorists by foisting false charges and by claiming that Jehan was not a terrorist. The Congress should be ashamed of all this machinations for political ends and in the process throwing to the winds the security of the country. **The decision to strike at this level is always with the government of the day. So is the success and failure of such operations. If the surgical strike had failed or if our jawans had lost their lives, the opposition would have torn apart the Modi government. Now that this was a great success and a rare occasion everyone should credit the Army and also the government for its decision to allow the army to strike. It is obvious that the sinister mindset of the opposition especially the congress who are definitely losing the battle of the voters mind is getting desperate that they can even bring up the past army operation during their miserable tenure, in which the decisions were made purely by the army constraint under an indecisive and cowardly Congress government. The army has clarified the magnitude of this operation that would never see the light of day had it not been without the blessings and tacit approval of the PM. **We all recollect the Congress party as an elitist party more prone to argue in sound terms with opponents till Indira Gandhi ,in her quest to capture power from the original gang of leaders of the congress, took her followers to the streets on the lines of the Communists. And that started a new trend in the Congress. But the level to which these guys these days have fallen is indeed despicable. Apparently Rahul Gandhi needs lessons in language use before he can even aspire for the top post. OMG!!! ** In fact it is the Con Party, which is hiding behind the terrorist groups both inside and outside the country, and doing politics by even questioning the army. The Con Party is very worried that it is thoroughly exposed on how it was soft on terrorism during its rule, and how it was not acting against Pakistan's threats and the atrocities enacted on India.
