September 29 (SeeNews) - US conglomerate General Electric (NYSE:GE) said on Wednesday that its renewables arm has concluded construction work on the first phase of Mytrah Energy’s (LON:MYT) 200-MW Aspari wind project in India. The 51-MW Aspari I wind park in Andhra Pradesh’s Kurnool district is now ready to be commissioned. It comprises 30 units of GE’s 1.7-103 turbines. Upon completion, the entire wind power complex will also include 17 additional machines of the same model and 52 units of GE’s new 2.3-116 technology. The Aspari wind farm will also make use of GE’s Energy Forecasting application, which is part of a new suite of software applications for the Digital Wind Farm, the company noted. In early August, Mytrah said that the 200-MW project had attracted a USD-31-million (EUR 27.6m) investment from the US group.
