Only when you buy from a FFL dealer. Adi kooda, if you don't hear anything from your local sheriff's office, after 2 days automatic delivery. Private sales (used) ki no checks. I am not obligated to check anything before I sell my gun to you. Gun shows are nothing but a big consignment sales kind of an arrangement. Second hand gun market is not at all controlled. I can sell my guns to anybody without checking anything. There is nothing illegal about it. Only constraint is, it should not look like an immediate buy and sell, I need FFL for that case. Evadu cheppindi background check ki weeks ani. I will give you my example. Online lo konnaanu brand new gun, they shipped the gun to a local FFL dealer. I show him my documents (GC and DL). He enters something on his PC, then calls some line. After 20 minutes he says, come back after 3 days. annai, this is what I don't understand. According to first hand info I got - it's not easy to buy a gun. It's definitely not as easy as O portrays in his speeches "go to a show and come back with a gun" - at least in California it is not so. Sometimes it takes weeks for the background checks to complete. I agree, this is not proving to be sufficient. So, what I'm saying is "don't simply say that more background checks will check this menace...that is the disrespect O shows to these victims...." He tries to play politics instead of coming up with a proper solution | ||
